Botany of Transcendence
Mythic Plants through the Lens of Naida Osline
Published in conjunction with my solo exhibition at the Museum of Art and History (MOAH) in Lancaster, California, I’m delighted to share my first book—a beautiful 98-page volume that brings together key aspects of my artistic journey over the past twenty years. It features three essays by incredible curators, critics, artists and writers including a comprehensive essay by Tyler Stallings, tracing my practice and influences; a reflective piece by Douglas McCulloh exploring my botanical work as it relates to time and photography; and a wonderfully lyrical and opulent essay by Shana Nys Dambrot. The elegant design by Tony Pinto and the expert editing by Christopher Michno have brought this project to life, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the result.
The book is $25 + $5 shipping. You can purchase a copy directly from me at this link OrderHere
Copies will also be available at the museum throughout the exhibition which ends April 13, 2025
